Devin Lakey (1996 - )

Devin, a local young man from Steenberg, Cape Town,joined Spier Arts Academy as a Mosaic apprentice in 2017. He enjoys the different techniques, styles, materials involved with mosaic, but especially learning about the interpretation of a mosaic from the original artwork to the end result.



“From the moment I started doing mosaic I learnt how to manage my time and how helpful planning really can be.”



Devin looks forward to working on large scale mosaics in the future and to create opportunities for other in his community.
