Marilie Fortuin (1997 - )

Born in Cape Town, Marilie joined Spier Arts Academy as a Mosaic Apprentice in 2016. Marilie consistently received distinctions for her practical as well as academic performance.

“Mosaic has impacted my life in a positive way, being at Spier Arts Academy has put me outside of my comfort zone and my self-confidence has grown as well as my independent thinking. “

Marilie is a 2018 graduate and plans to work with Spier Arts Trust as a Journeyman. She hopes to promote awareness around the art of mosaic and create a platform for graduates to grow their careers.
